To do this, we need to plot tables of values for f(x) and g(x) . The value of x for which f(x) and g(x) have thesame value give the solution to the equation.

From the table of values above,

When x = 2, f(x) = g(x) = 0

Also, When x = 5, f(x) = g(x) = 3

Hence, the solutions to f(x) = g(x) are x = 2 and x = 5
