To solve an inequation we need to isolate the variable on the left side. We do that by changing the other terms from one side to the other, as that happens their operations will be switched to it's inverted operation. If it is adding on the left it should subtract on the right and vice-versa, while if it is multiplying on the left it divides on the right and vice-versa.

We have:

The value of "x" must be less than -5
