At standard temperature and pressure, Oxygen has a density of 1.43 kg/m^3. (table 11.1) What volume (m3 ) does 0.225 kg of oxygen occupy at standard temperature and pressure?

density = 1.43 kg/m^3

mass = 0.225 kg

density = mass / volume

volume = mass / density

Replacing:

V = 0.225 kg / 1.43 kg / m^3 = 0.1573 m^3

Volume = 0.1573 m^3
