3x-4y=20

Using the formula below

\begin{gathered} y=mx+b \\ \text{where} \\ m=\text{slope} \\ b=y-\text{intercept} \end{gathered}

Therefore,

\begin{gathered} 3x-20=4y \\ 4y=3x-20 \\ \text{divide both sides by 4} \\ (4y)/(4)=(3x)/(4)-(20)/(4) \\ y=(3)/(4)x-5 \\ y-\text{intercept}=-5 \\ \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} y=(3)/(4)x-5 \\ 0=(3)/(4)x-5 \\ 5=(3)/(4)x \\ 20=3x \\ x=(20)/(3) \\ x-\text{intercept}=(20)/(3) \end{gathered}

Note y-intercept is when x = 0 and x -intercept is when y = 0
