Given:

a.) Pablo played 170 consecutive games of soccer without being taken off the field.

b.) After a single game on the sidelines, he played another 238 consecutive games.

For us to be able to determine the percent of increase in the number of consecutive games he played, we will be using the following formula:

\text{ Percentage increase = }\frac{\text{ No. of consecutive games Pablo additionally played}}{\text{ No. of consective games Pablo initially played}}\text{ x 100}

We get,

\text{ Percentage increase = }(238)/(170)\text{ x 100 = 1.4 x 100}
\text{ Percentage increase = 140\%}

Therefore, the answer is 140%
