4. To find area and perimeter of the given figure:

Since, area of each square is 1 square units.

So, length of the figure is 6 units.

Breadth of the figure is 4 units.

Area of figure is,


\begin{gathered} l* b=6*4 \\ =24\text{ square units} \end{gathered}

Perimeter of the figure is,


\begin{gathered} 2(l+b)=2(6+4) \\ =2(10) \\ =20\text{ units} \end{gathered}

Hence, perimeter = 20 units, and area = 24 square units.
