Problem

Solution

Ror this case we know that:

h(x)= (-6+x) (4+x)

g(x)= -6-2x

Part a

We want to find h/g so we can do this:

((x-6)(x+4))/(-2(x+3))

And replacing x=-5 we got 11/4

Part b

For this part the function is not defined if the denominator is 0 so then we need to satisfy that x would be different from -3

The answer for this case the answer would be:

x= -3
