The coordinates of the vertex k are (2, -1). If it is dilated using a scale factor equal to 3, the new coordinates are going to be:

3\cdot(2,-1)=(3\cdot2,3\cdot(-1))=(6,-3)

Answer: the image of vertex k after dilation is (6, -3)
