As per given by the question,

There are given that, 9 red marble, 7 blue marbles, and 4 yellow marbles contain in bag.

Now,

From the given bag;

Total number of marble contains in bag is,

9+7+4=20.

Then,

The probability that chosen yellow marble,

P=\frac{number\text{ of yellow marble in a bag }}{\text{total numbers of marble in a bag}}

So,'

There are yellow marbles is 4 and total number of marbles is 20 in a bag.

Then, the probability is;

\begin{gathered} P=\frac{number\text{ of yellow marble in a bag }}{\text{total numbers of marble in a bag}} \\ P=(4)/(20) \\ P=(1)/(5) \end{gathered}

Now,

The probability that it is not yellow;

So,

\begin{gathered} P(\text{not yellow)=1-probability(yellow)} \\ P(\text{not yellow)=}1-(1)/(5) \\ P(\text{not yellow)=}(5-1)/(5) \\ P(\text{not yellow)=}(4)/(5) \end{gathered}

The probability that it is not a yellow marble is,

(4)/(5)

Hence, the option D is correct, that means

\text{option (D)=}(4)/(5)
