f(x)= 2x^2+3x-5

g(x)= 5x^2+4x-1

f(x) subtracted from g(x)

g(x)- f(x)

g(x)- f(x)=5x^2+4x-1-(2x^2+3x-5)

g(x)- f(x)= 5x^2+4x-1-2x^2-3x+5

Combine like terms

g(x)- f(x) = 5x^2-2x^2+4x-3x-1+5

g(x)- f(x)= 3x^2+x+4
