Given that it takes 5 hours piano practice each day.

Let the number of hours he practices for 10 days be x.

Thus,

\begin{gathered} 1\text{ day }\Rightarrow\text{ 5 hours} \\ 10\text{ days }\Rightarrow\text{ x hours} \\ \text{thus,} \\ x\text{ = }\frac{10\text{ days }*5\text{ hours}}{1\text{ day}} \\ \Rightarrow x\text{ = 50 hours} \end{gathered}

thus, for 10 days, Steve practices piano for 50 hours.

Let the numbers of hours he practices piano for 29 days be y.

Thus,

\begin{gathered} 1\text{ day }\Rightarrow\text{ 5 hours} \\ 29\text{ days }\Rightarrow y\text{ hours} \\ \text{thus,} \\ y\text{ = }\frac{29\text{ days}*5\text{ hours}}{1\text{ days}} \\ y\text{ = 145 hours} \end{gathered}

thus, for 29 days, Steve practices piano for 145 hours.

Hence, the number of hours Steve practices piano for 1, 5, and 29 days are 5, 50, and 145 hours respectively.
