You are approached by a police officer. He asks to look in your backpack because someone stole a pop from a nearby store. You refuse. The officer puts you in cuffs and takes you to jail for not being helpful to an investigation. What amendment(s) might your lawyer apply to get you out of jail? Why?

Explanation: I would say either 13 amendement because it protects's everyone's rights and the freedom to defend themselves. Or 14 amendment because it gives everyone equal protection i would go with the 13 amendment. I am an middle schooler and i know this better than a collage student sad
