Perimeter 62 meters

length (L)

width (w): w=3L-1

Perimeter (P) P=2w+2L

\begin{gathered} P=2w+2L \\ 62=2(3L-1)+2L \\ 62=6L-2+2L \\ 62=8L-2 \\ 62+2=8L \\ (64)/(8)=L \\ 8=L \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} w=3L-1 \\ w=3(8)-1 \\ w=23 \end{gathered}

now we are going to find the area

Area (a) a=L*w

\begin{gathered} a=L\cdot w \\ a=8\cdot23 \\ a=184 \end{gathered}

The area is 184 squared meters
