The surface area of a cylinder is

A=2\pi rh+2\pi r^2

Where

r = radius of the base

h = height

Therefore

\begin{gathered} A=2\pi\cdot4\cdot7+2\pi\cdot(4)^2 \\ \\ A=56\pi+32\pi \\ \\ A=88\pi \\ \\ \end{gathered}

The unit here will be squared centimeters

A=88\pi\text{ cm}^2
