hello

the total numbers of coin in the pockets are

5+8=13

the probablility of the first coin to be a nickel is

(5)/(13)

the probability of the second coin is a dime is

(8)/(12)=(2)/(3)

the probability that the first coin is a nickel and the second coin a dime is

(5)/(13)*(2)/(3)=(10)/(39)

from the calculations above, the probability that the first coin is a nickel and the second coin is a dime is 10/39
