Three consecutives even integers can be represented as x, x+2 and x+4. Since their sum must be equal to -90, we can write

x+x+2+x+4=-90

By combining like terms, we have

3x+6=-90

Then, by substracting 6 from both side, we get

3x=-96

Then, x is given by

\begin{gathered} x=(-96)/(3) \\ x=-32 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the numbers are -32, -30, -28
