The affected organelle is the mitochondria.

-Mitochondria are membrane-bound cell organelles that generate most of the chemical energy needed to power the cell's biochemical reactions. Chemical energy produced by the mitochondria is stored in a small molecule called ATP.

When there's a dysfunction in it, the energy production is decreased, so the subject will feel with muscles weakness, lack of coordination, short stature.
