So we have to find the function (f+g)(x) knowing that f and g are given by:

\begin{gathered} f(x)=-x+5 \\ g(x)=-3x^2 \end{gathered}

Function (f+g)(x) meets the following property:

(f+g)(x)=f(x)+g(x)

Which means that we just need to add the expressions of f and g in order to find the answer:

f(x)+g(x)=-x+5-3x^2

Then the answer is:

(f+g)(x)=-3x^2-x+5
