On Saturday, he earns 8x

On Sunday, he earns 9.5x + 10

The amount he earned more on Sunday is the difference between his earnings for the two days = (9.5x + 10) - 8x

=> 9.5x + 10 - 8x

Collecting like terms

9.5x - 8x + 10

1.5x + 10

For the second part of the question, if he worked for 6 hours each day, we will substitute the value of x= 6 into the equation 1.5x + 10

=> 1.5(6) + 10

=> 9 + 10

=> $ 19

He will earn 19 dollars more on Sunday
