Using the table we get the value for Chi-square right:

Now, using the same table we can get the value for the Chi-square left:

From the bottom of the table page, you see that the table if for the area to the right. So first you use the table to get the value of Chi-Square to the right, using α = 0.05 and n = 11. We find:


\chi^2_(right)=19.675

Now, we can also use the same table for the value of Chi-square to the left! We simply take this time α = 1 - 0.05 = 0.95 and n = 11, doing that we find:


\chi^2_(left)=4.575
