We have the following:

We can calculate the value x by means of the Pythagorean theorem that says the following

h^2=a^2+b^2

In this case the value of the hypotenuse is x, we replace and we have

\begin{gathered} x^2=12.8^2+5.3^2 \\ x^2=163.84+28.09 \\ x=\sqrt[]{191.93} \\ x=13.85 \end{gathered}

The value of x is 13.85
