The temperature T (d) in degrees Fahrenheit in terms of the Celsius temperature d is given by T (d)= d+32.The temperature (v) in degrees Celsius in terms of the Kelvin temperature v is given by C(v)=v-273.Write a formula for the temperature F(v) in degrees Fahrenheit in terms of the Kelvin temperature v.

Solution

The given temperature T(d) is given as

T(d)=(9)/(5)d+32

The temperature C(v) is given as:

C(v)=v-273

The temperature F(V) is defined as:

F(v)=(9)/(5)(v-243)+32

This is simplified to give

F(v)=\quad(9v)/(5)-(2027)/(5)
