I just did -5/7 + ⅔. I got the answer -1/21. Am I correct?

Hello

To solve this problem, we should add the fractions together.


-(5)/(7)+(2)/(3)

Find the LCM between 7 and 3 and that would be 21


\begin{gathered} -(5)/(7)+(2)/(3) \\ (-3(5)+7(2))/(21)=(-15+14)/(21)=-(1)/(21) \end{gathered}

From the calculations above, the answer is -1/21
