Given an angle on a right triangle, the ratio between the opposite leg and the hypotenuse is equal to the sine of the angle.


\sin\theta=(A)/(B)

Using this property in our problem, we have the following relation for the missing side:


\sin41^o=(a)/(16)\implies a=16\cos41^o=10.49694...\approx10

The length of the missing side is 10m.
