Using the point-slope equation:


\begin{gathered} y-y1=m(x-x1) \\ y-68=-8(x-(-9)) \\ y-68=-8(x+9) \end{gathered}

Solve for y:


\begin{gathered} y-68=-8x-72 \\ y=-8x-72+68 \\ y=-8x-4 \end{gathered}
