\begin{gathered} 4S\text{ = t + 2} \\ \text{Divide both sides by 4} \\ (4S)/(4)\text{ = }\frac{t\text{ + 2}}{4} \\ S\text{ = }\frac{t\text{ + 2}}{4} \\ \\ \end{gathered}

The correct option is the third one.
