the given function is,

g(x) = 2x + 6

compare this with the standard eqation of the line, y = mx + c, here m = slope , C = y intercept

so, the slope of the above function is

m = 2

the equation of the line for the function f(x) can be calculated as,

the slope of the function f(x) is,

\begin{gathered} m=\frac{-6-(-12)}{0-(-1)_{}} \\ m=(6)/(1) \\ m=6 \end{gathered}

the equation of function will be,

\begin{gathered} y-(-6)=6(x-0) \\ y+6=6x \\ y=6x-6 \end{gathered}

so, the functions are,

f(x) = 6x - 6 , slope = m = 6 and y intercept is = -6

and

g(x) = 2x + 6 slope m = 2 and y intercept is +6

so, +6 > -6

thus, the y intercept of g(x) is greater than f(x)

i have solved your problem in the answer tab.

if you have any doubt with this solution then let me know.
