Given,

The distance covered, d=30 m

The time interval, t=8 s

As there is no initial velocity is given, we assume that the initial velocity is u=0 m/s

Acceleration of the can be calculated from one of the equations of motion,

d=ut+(1)/(2)at^2

Where a is the acceleration of the body.

On substituting the known values ,

\begin{gathered} 30=0+(1)/(2)* a*8^2 \\ a=(2*30)/(8^2) \\ =0.94m/s^2 \end{gathered}

Thus the acceleration of the body is 0.94 m/s²
