First, let's find the weekly payment

52 weeks = 1 yeay

If he is paid $96 000 per year

Then his weekly payment is $96 000 /52 = $1846.15

His payment in 5 weeks is 5 x $1846.15 = $9230.75

The fee he must pay is 23% of $9230.75

= 23/100 x $9230.75

= $2123.0725

≈ $2123.07
