We will have the following:

In order to determine which one has an area of 24 squared units we proceed as follows:

First, we take each one and subdivide them into their component shapes and determine those areas, then we add them, that is:

First shape:

Now, we calculate the area:

A=A_A+A_B+A_C

\Rightarrow A=((4\ast2)/(2))+(2\ast4)+(2\ast6)\Rightarrow A=24

Now, from this we can see that the first shape happens to be the shape with an area of 24 squared units,
