Adds the length sides

so

(6.5r+4.2)+(2.4r-9.8)+(9.5s-5.2)

group terms

(6.5r+2.4r)+(9.5s)+(4.2-9.8-5.2)

(8.9r+9.5s-10.8) centimeters
