The volume of a cone is given as

V = pi x r^2 x h/3

From the figure, we are given the volume to be 151 m^3

Diameter of the cone = 12m

Pi = 3.14

Since, radius = diameter/ 2

r = 12/2

r = 6m

V = 151

r = 6m

Pi = 3.14

Substitute the above values into the above formula

151 = 3.14 x 6^2 x h / 3

151 = 3.14 x 36 x h / 3

Introduce cross multiplication

151 x 3 = 3.14 x 36 x h

453 = 113.04h

Divide both sides by 113.04

453/113.04 = 113.04h/113.04

h = 453/113.04

h = 4.00 m

The answer is 4m
