The rule of the area of the rhombus using its diagonals is

A=(d1* d2)/(2)

The length of d1 = 7 cm

The length of d2 = 2 cm

Substitute them in the rule above

\begin{gathered} A=(7*2)/(2) \\ A=(14)/(2) \\ A=7\operatorname{cm} \end{gathered}

The area of the rhombus is 7 square centimeters
