This is a simple question.

The run is related to the x-axis and the rise to the y-axis and the slope is the relation between the two and we can calculate in the following form:


Slope=(Rise)/(Run)=\frac{y_2-y_1_{}}{x_2-x_1}

To do so, we need to choose 2 different points in the line and calculate. For our explanation, we will choose points (-1,9) and (3,-3). So let's calculate:


Slope=(Rise)/(Run)=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)=(9-(-3))/(-1-3)=(12)/(-4)=-(12)/(4)

And that is our Slope.

Now we can draw it as follows:
