Odorants are located on the olfactory sensory neurons in the olfactory epithelium of the nose. When the odor enters the nose, it is being dissolved in the olfactory epethelium. It binds with the odorant receptors.

The eyes is responsible for the sense of sight. The tongue is for the sense of taste. The ear is for the sense of hearing.
