In this problem we have an equation of the form

y=kxz

Find the value of k

we have

y=65

x=14

z=5

substitute

65=k(14)(5)

65=70k

k=65/70

so

y=(65/70)xz

Find the value of x when

y=109 and z=3

substitute

109=(65/70)(3)x

x=(109*70)/(65*3)

x=39.128
