The only function below that has a root at x=2 is the one in letter C. It also happens to have the asymptotes they asked.

As for the root:

\begin{gathered} 0=(4)/(x+2)-1 \\ (4)/(x+2)=1 \\ x+2=4 \\ x=4-2 \\ x=2 \end{gathered}

Answer: letter C
