Dilation of a shape is the production of an image that is exactly the same shape but a different size, either smaller of bigger.

The triangle IFJ has coordinates (9, -2), (-5, -10) and (0, -11)

The translated image has coordinates (18, -4), (-10, -20) and (0, -22)

From observing the coordinates, we see that every value has been multiplied by a factor of 2.

Therefore, we can say that there is a dilation of the triangle with scale factor of 2.
