REcall that the range of a function, given its graph, is the set of values that we can see on the y axis.

From the graph, we can see that it takes all possible values on the y axis but not under -9. We can confirm that as there is no part of the graph that goes under -9.

This means that the range of the function is all real number that are greater or equal to -9. Or written in terms of y as
