6-3(3x-5)=-24

To solve x:

1- Use distributive property to remove the parenthesis:

\begin{gathered} a(b\pm c)=ab\pm ac \\ \\ 6-9x+15=-24 \\ 21-9x=-24 \end{gathered}

2- Subtract 21 in both sides of the equation:

\begin{gathered} 21-21-9x=-24-21 \\ -9x=-45 \end{gathered}

3- Divide both sides of the equation into -9:

\begin{gathered} (-9)/(-9)x=(-45)/(-9) \\ \\ x=5 \end{gathered}Then, x is 5
