we will use the parallelogram law

for our case is

we can use the formula

|u+v|=\sqrt[]^2+2
\begin{gathered} |u+v|=\sqrt[]{196+256+448\cos(120)} \\ \\ w=\sqrt[]{196+256-224} \\ \\ w=\sqrt[]{228}=2\sqrt[]{57}=15.1 \end{gathered}

the magnitude of W is approximately 15.1 and the angle is approximately the half of 120° so 60°
