4.In 100 mL of a solution there are 36 g. How many mg will 7.5 mL contain?

\begin{gathered} If\text{ 100mL contains 36g} \\ \text{Therefore, 1mL will contain }(36)/(100)g=0.36g \end{gathered}

Thus;


7.5mL\text{ will contain 7.5}*0.36g=2.7g

Expressing 2.7g to milligram(mg); we have:


\begin{gathered} 2.7g=2.7*1000mg \\ \Rightarrow2700mg \end{gathered}
