A math Olympiad club consist of 16 students

The number of different teams of 5 students that can be formed for competitions is a combinations of 5 different students

The formula for combination is

^nC_r=(n!)/(r!(n-r)!)

^(16)C_5

The number of teams will be

^(16)C_5=(16!)/(5!(16-5)!)=(16!)/(5!*11!)=4368

Hence, the number of teams of 5 that can be formed if 4368
