to find f(-x) we have to replace x by -x in the function f. In this case we get that


\begin{gathered} f(-x)=(-x)^2-5\cdot(-x)+2 \\ =x^2+5x+2 \end{gathered}

therefore we get that


f(-x)=x^2+5x+2
