We are asked to solve the following equation:

2=x+(10)/(13)

we can solve it by first subtracting 10/13 on both sides, like this:

2-(10)/(13)=x+(10)/(13)-(10)/(13)

Solving the operations we get:

2-(10)/(13)=x

Solving the operation on the left side:

\begin{gathered} (26-10)/(13)=x \\ (16)/(13)=x \end{gathered}

therefore, the value of "x" is 16/13
