A 90° counterclockwise rotation of a point about the origin maps point P(x, y) to P'(-y, x), that is, the x-coordinate is now the y-coordinate, and the original y-coordinate is now the inverted x-coordinate.

We are given the point (0, -2).

After rotating it by 90° counterclockwise about the origin, the new coordinates will be (2, 0).
