Reflection across the x-axis: The translation rule for reflection across the x-axis is given as

Therefore relating to the base function


(x,x^n)\rightarrow(x,-x^n)

Transition of h units to the left: The translation rule to the left by h units is


(x,x^n)\rightarrow(x,(x+h)^n)

Translation of k units up: The translation rule for k units up is


(x,x^n)\rightarrow(x,x^n+k)

Vertical Dilation: If the factor of dilation is a, then vertical dilation gives
