Congruent triangles have the same shape and the same size, The triangles JKL and ABC have the same shape, let's see if their size is the same:

The line segment AC from the triangle ABC must have the same length that the side JK of the second triangle, we can calculate these sides like this:

\begin{gathered} AC=-2-(-6)=-2+6=4 \\ JK=-4-(-8)=-4+8=4 \\ \end{gathered}

As we can see, both sides are equal, now let's find the lengths of the sides BC and KL:

\begin{gathered} BC=8-2=6 \\ KL=-2-(-8)=-2+8=6 \end{gathered}

Then, both sides have the same length. since we have two sides of the triangles that have the same length we know that their hypotenuse it's also going to be equal, then, the triangles ABC and JKL are congruent.
