2(10 + n) = 16

The initial expression is:


2(10+n)=16

So first we can divide by 2 so:


\begin{gathered} 10+n=(16)/(2) \\ 10+n=8 \end{gathered}

now we rest 10 in bout sides so:


\begin{gathered} n=8-10 \\ n=-2 \end{gathered}
