Angle 1 + Angle 2 = 180°

(7x)° + (x + 20)° = 180°

(8x + 20)° = 180°

8x = 180 - 20

8x = 160

x = 160/8

x = 20

7(20) = 140° and 20 + 20 = 40°

Answer: 40° and 140°
